friendship
Hey everybody!
Well, things have been going well here. I'm settled in, adjusted, and pretty much used to most of the "weird" stuff. However, occassionally, the "I-actually-live-in-china" feeling hits me. I have to remind myself that I'm not just visiting this time. Anyway, I wanted to tell you all about my friend Alice. She and I work in the same office at school. She's just a few years older than me so we have enjoyed working with each other. We both have the same disgust towards the cafeteria food (this food makes cafeteria food back home look like a feast!), so we usually go to lunch together at a restuarnt across the street from school. She is pretty much my source of information here...whether it's help with translation or understanding the culture she always answers my questions. I would be so confused without her!! Anyway, I know we are really friends now because any time we go somewhere together she usually links arms with me or holds my hand LOL!! (p.s. that is culturally acceptable here...just in case you were wondering) All that to say, please be thinking about her and ask Him to provide opportunities for me to share His story. Thanks!!
